Return policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges of items unless the item you purchased is faulty or the order is wrong. Due to the customization process and high shipping costs, please make sure you are 100% committed to purchasing one of our products before proceeding to payment. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions before making this commitment.

We want you to be completely satisfied with the products you buy from us. If not, please email info@laquetedubois.com within 7 days of receiving your product. Please describe the problem well and attach photos for better understanding. We will work together to resolve any issues.

Here are examples of conditions for which no return or refund will be processed:

  • Product damaged by transport. Shipping damage must be determined upon delivery and the delivery must be rejected. You should not take possession of the package upon delivery. We will begin your replacement immediately and process the insurance claim with the carrier on our side.
  • Product that does not fit in your ideal space or cannot pass through your delivery path. We will provide detailed and accurate dimensions for each of our products. It is the consumer's responsibility to ensure that the product fits into their space.
  • Unexpected color or grain. Any product made from wood will have less than 25% sapwood on all "primary" surfaces combined. Primary surfaces are defined as regularly exposed surfaces. Additionally, the color of the wood will conform to the acceptable color range for any given wood species and will never be artificially altered by staining or staining. Returns requested based on color or grain will not be processed.
  • Final sale product.
  • Product damaged by the consumer or by any other means under his ownership.
  • There is no grace period for buyer's remorse and no refunds will be processed.

A product is eligible for a return if the product is defective or you received the wrong product.

Command error

The product is carefully checked and packaged before shipping. However, if we made a mistake when preparing it, we will take care of your situation, either compensation or replacement of the product, following receipt of the unwanted merchandise.

Product defect

If the product presents a defect, please write to us at info@laquetedubois.com in order to be able to check whether or not the case proceeds to a return.

Please do not send anything before having the return approved, once approved we will contact you by email or telephone, as appropriate. Please return the product in its original packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received it and have a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refund confirmation (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

Then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original form of payment.

Late refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, check your bank account first.

Then contact your credit card company and bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted and processed.

If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us.
